PAYING BY CHECK?

We accept company and personal checks as payment for class
registration. Abacus Mortgage Training & Education policy:

1. PROMPT PAYMENT

Please pay your invoice promptly upon receipt. If payment has not been received by the date of class, payment will have to be made at the registration table at the time of check-in.

2. NOTIFICATION

We will notify the State of North Carolina of your attendance only after payment has been received.

3. LATE REGISTRATION

If you register a day or two before class, or the evening before, do not mail your invoice and payment to our office as usual. Instead, bring the invoice and check with you to class. Persons paying at the door are expected to arrive between 7:45AM and 8:15AM to allow for a slightly longer check-in process.

4. RETURNED CHECKS

If your check is returned by the bank, there will be a $30.00 administrative charge payable at once, in addition to full payment of registration fee. Those who default on checks will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law as well as being reported to the NC COB which could affect their ability to become licensed as a loan officer in the state of NC.

5. CHECK IN TRANSIT, COMPLETION CERTIFICATE

If you arrive at class and we inform you that the check you mailed has not arrived at our office, we will still seat you in class. However, notification to the State of North Carolina will not happen until after we receive payment.
